Gaurav Sharma’s journey with motorcycles began long before IndiYmoto was born. At just 15, he learned to ride on an old-school Royal Enfield Bullet—heavy, raw, and powerful—sparking a lifelong passion for machines. What began as curiosity soon turned into obsession. From watching engine breakdowns on YouTube in his teenage years to studying the science behind every nut and bolt, Gaurav immersed himself in the world of motor engineering. By 2014, when most people his age were still figuring out their careers, Gaurav had already built a business supplying rare vintage bike parts across India. Over the years, he worked directly in the heart of the automotive industry, gaining hands-on experience in engine manufacturing—from fabrication to final assembly. He even traveled to Taiwan in 2020 to train in ECU tuning, refining his expertise in modern engine control systems. His work took him across India—from Chennai to the industrial hub of Manesar, Gurgaon—where he learned the trade from the ground up. But Gaurav isn’t just a builder; he’s a rider through and through. Having covered nearly every corner of India on two wheels, including Ladakh and the deep South, he understands the needs of riders better than most. When he couldn’t find the right panniers for his own Himalayan, he built his own—laser-cut, molded, and tested on real rides. That first prototype wasn’t just a product; it was a promise.
